Sushi Nori (Rosted Seaweed)

Seaweed breeding base is located in Dongsha Island, 20 nautical miles east of the coast of Dafeng, China. Dongsha Island is one of the best place for seaweed cultivation due to its long sunshine duration, good quality of water and ideal temperature. It forms a various of marine food chain as of a moderate salinity of sea water and maintainable motive force of tidal current. With the abundant of planktons, fishes, seashell and algae, it creates a ecological environment for seaweed cultivation. Seaweed cultivated from the island is full of minerals, aroma and good taste after roasted.


To raise rate of seedling emergence, a constant temperature field of seaweed breeding was founded in 2005. This seedling farm has 7000 square meter comprehensive seedling room, 20 acre of seedling culivation pool, and 40 acres of advanced water purifying pool for water storage. This raises the rate of seedling emergence to 95%, given more than 30,000 mu seaweed seedling every year. All seaweed products are manufactured within a 8,300 square meter of food purification workshop under a constant temperature and humidity environment. This workshop was designed according to "DMP" production quality standard to ensure products in keeping with "GB/T 23596 Nori Standard".


Nori sheets for sushi come in different grades. Japanese grade their nori by colour, shininess, weight, thickness, spots (holes), and also if the nori contains any other seaweeds. We offer 5 type of grade: Premium Gold, Black Gold, Gold, Blue and Green.
